POOLSIDE OASIS
A complete rear yard makeover. This project incorporated a custom gunite swimming pool, covered outdoor living space addition with a fireplace, cook station and bathroom addition for use by outdoor guests. All of the paving stone is silver travertine and is installed on a concrete sub-slab. Project also includes southern traditional landscape, low voltage night lighting, automated irrigation system and a sub-surface drainage system.
COUNTRY RETREAT
This country residence was a retreat away from the city for the clients. Design of the spaces was to reflect the local area and create a rustic paradise. Design elements include a free-standing outdoor structure with wrap around lanai, custom gunite lap pool, new patio spaces, block retaining wall, side and front entry courts and southern traditional landscape throughout. This project was completed over several years and in several phases.
OUTDOOR LIVING
This project incorporated several design elements and some grade change that allowed for some unique features. Included in the design is a Pennsylvania bluestone patio with Old St. Louis red brick, wood deck with iron handrails, custom fountain feature and outdoor covered structure with cook station. The wood deck, custom fountain and covered structure work together to create a large gathering area that has both visual interest and soothing sound from the custom fountain. Other elements included in the design are low voltage night lighting, landscape plantings and sub-surface drainage.
SOUTHERN CHARM
A complete front and rear yard renovation. Landscape design elements include a Pennsylvania Bluestone patio and custom brick fireplace in the rear yard space. An existing large live oak tree provides shade and a striking visual element for the rear patio space. The front yard landscape design included a new circular diveway with parking area, iron fencing with brick columns, front landscape plantings, low voltage night lighting and an automated irrigation system.
CONTEMPORARY
LANDSCAPE
This contemporary site design incorporates a custom gunite pool with ivory travertine coping and paving. The pool fountain, sunken hot tub and chaise lounger pool shelf are key accent features of the pool design. The landscape planting design reflects the contemporary feel with boxwood hedges and patio tree hollies in a linear design throughout. In a separate courtyard area we designed and installed synthetic turf for ease of maintenance and greenery all year long.
